16 Month Check-up

Carter had his 16 month checkup today and it confirmed what I already knew...that he is perfect! He weighs 25 lbs. and is 32 inches tall. His doctor said that his weight is now in the 50th percentile (this is the lowest he has ever been) and his height is off the chart. So I guess that means that he is perfect. Today was the first time Carter didn't like his doctor that much. As she was checking him out he kept pointing to the door, as if to tell her to leave. She was very impressed by his vocabulary. Dr. M told me that at his age he should only know about 5 words. Carter is so beyond that. He is already saying big words like golf cart, snow cone, Jesus and tractor.

Every time Carter talks it just amazes me. Last week Philip asked Carter who came to see him that afternoon. Carter looked right up at Philip and without hesitation said God. Then he turned around and walked off like doesn't God come see everyone!

Finally an update

Carter just turned 16 months old. He is getting so big. He is in such a cute phase right now. He is able to communicate with us and it is so much fun. Right now his favorite words are Jesus and God. After he says them he wants you to repeat him. He is a little sponge of knowledge! He learns things very fast. He relates all tractors to Papa (Grandpa Lyons) and all trucks and motorcycles to DennyPa. Carter has all his grandparents wrapped around his little finger. He loves riding around in Grandma's golfcart. Everytime he sees her he wants the golfcart.

Carter at Daddy's new office. He loved spinning around in the trash lid.

Daddy and Carter in Ruidoso, New Mexico. We went there over spring break and had a nice relaxing time.

Carter decided to take a walk instead of hunting Easter eggs.

Since I'm so good at blogging...I had to switch blog sites the other one wouldn't let me upload pictures at all. This one is a lot easier for me to use. Keep checking back I really plan on keeping this easiere blog updated.
